6 We will be offering limited food and beverage service in the upper cabins of the “Super” Class vessels on the Anacortes/San Juan Island route through March 30, 2019 due to United States Coast Guard regulations. Passengers can purchase their food and non-alcoholic beverages in the upper cabin but will be asked to consume them down in the lower cabin. Alcohol will not be served on these vessels. If you need assistance accessing the upper level, a crew member will be available to assist you.
These restrictions will only apply to the Elwha, Yakima, or Hyak while on the route. Full galley service will be available on all other vessels. Friday, January 18, 2019 03:17 PM Sea/Brem/BI - Bicycle entrance on south side of toll plaza The bicycle-only entrance is now located on the south end of the toll plaza to Colman Dock. The new bicycle entrance is close to the lanes where bicycles heading to Bainbridge Island wait for the ferry. The new entrance can be accessed from the sidewalk, or from the main toll plaza entrance on South Jackson Street. There is an attendant available weekdays from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Please show your ticket to the attendant.

All off-loading traffic will exit Colman Dock from the north exit at Marion Street only. These changes are needed until summer 2019 to make the most space available on the dock for vehicles waiting for the ferry during construction to replace Colman Dock. Construction update: The entire north half of Colman Dock will be closed off for construction.
Work activity includes removing nearly all of the dock down to the water line and building a new steel and concrete deck supported by sturdy steel piles. Work is also continuing on the south trestle with construction of the new terminal building and passenger-only ferry dock.
The loudest work is scheduled during daylight hours, up to seven days a week. Disposable earplugs are available from any Colman Dock terminal staff member. Wednesday, January 09, 2019 09:52 PM Edm/King - Reminder - Kingston Terminal Drop-Off/Pick-Up Location Reminder - Please be advised the general drop-off/pick-up area at the Kingston Terminal has moved to a new location. New staging lanes are now being used by Kitsap Transit buses to better accommodate the public utilizing the new Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry and Washington State Ferries at the Kingston Terminal. Please note the following changes:. The general public pick up/drop is located on Washington Blvd NE, between SR 104 and Central Ave. Drivers wishing to access to the passenger drop-off/pick-up area should utilize the far right local access lane when approaching the terminal, take a right turn on to Washington Blvd, just prior to the tollbooths. ADA accessibility drop-off/pick-up is provided in the vehicle holding area, south of the bus staging area. Vehicles will utilize lane 2 for access to this area.
All vehicles must stop at tollbooth prior to dropping passengers off. Tollbooth attendants will direct vehicles to the appropriate ADA drop-off/pick-up area.
New BUS ONLY transit lanes are located in the terminal holding area. Kitsap Transit will stage in Lane 1, stenciled as BUS ONLY. Kitsap Transit accesses Booth #1 from the local lane, please allow buses to merge.
Saturday, December 29, 2018 03:05 PM Faunt/Va/SW - Southworth Vehicle Staging Procedure Drivers queue up (line up on SE Sedgwick Rd) and proceed on a first come, first serve basis to the toll booth for the next available sailing. If a line exists from the tollbooth to the intersection at SE Southworth Drive and SE Sedgwick Highway, all vehicles must line up in the ferry line on Sedgwick Highway. These changes were made for safety and for the first come, first serve loading process.
Saturday, December 29, 2018 07:09 PM Faunt/Va/SW - Reminder - Fauntleroy Tollbooth & Traffic Changes All drivers must stop at the tollbooth to buy or redeem tickets. Drivers will receive a destination card and a receipt, and will no longer have to stop again after the tollbooth to scan tickets. Instead, they must keep their destination cards visible, and will be directed to the appropriate holding lane. These changes were implemented to the Fauntleroy traffic patterns with the aim of improving efficiency at the tollbooth during peak commute time.
Customers could still experience extended wait times during peak travel periods when volume of vehicles waiting to board exceeds capacity. Please follow all instructions from WSF staff and signs. Sunday, December 23, 2018 04:29 AM Muk/Clin - ADA Pick Up and Drop Off at Clinton Must Enter Through Tollbooth Customers using the ADA/limited mobility pick-up and drop-off area at the Clinton terminal must enter through the tollbooth instead of the transit bus lanes. Entering through the tollbooth helps keep car traffic out of the bus lanes and ensures your safety and security on the dock.
Passengers that are able to walk a short distance can save time and avoid lineups at the tollbooth by using the designated drop-off/pick-up area across from the phone booth on Ferry Dock road. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
